As CSI Files previously reported<\/a>, the new midseason series Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders<\/i> was in need of at least one new cast member after it was revealed that Anna Gunn<\/b> (Lily Lambert) wouldn’t be on the show despite appearing in the backdoor pilot. According to Deadline<\/a>, Alana De La Garza<\/b> and Annie Funke<\/b> have been added as series regulars. De La Garza will play a cultural anthropologist named Clara, while Funke portrays the team’s medical examiner, Mae. CSI: Miami<\/i> fans will recognize De La Garza as Marisol Delko Caine, who was last seen in the season 10 premiere, “Countermeasures”<\/a>. She will also appear in the second season of Scorpion<\/i>, in a recurring<\/a> role.<\/p>\n
