CSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/i> star Ted Danson<\/b> (DB Russell) spoke to the Toronto Sun<\/a> last month, and he discussed the upcoming series finale<\/a>. “They came up with this idea of a two-hour movie for television so they could make it an event,” he explained. “They\u2019ll bring back Billy Petersen<\/b> and Marg Helgenberger<\/b> and a lot of the people that made the show great.”<\/p>\n

\nAfter CSI<\/i> is officially finished, Danson will head over<\/a> to the only remaining spinoff, CSI: Cyber<\/i>. As CSI Files previously reported<\/a>, Danson will appear in 13 episodes alongside leading lady Patricia Arquette<\/b> (Avery Ryan). DB and Ryan worked together during Cyber’<\/i>s backdoor pilot, “Kitty”<\/a>, and they also shared a scene in the season fifteen episode “The Twin Paradox”<\/a>. “I’ve been wondering, ‘How does the CSI in Las Vegas end up working with the FBI in Washington DC?'” Danson said. “It’ll be a writing challenge. But I’m sure they’ll solve it.”
