Eads&#8217; final episode will be the finale of season 15, which was previously <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/content\/2014\/10\/cbs-lowers-csi-season-order-to-18-episodes\/\">trimmed<\/a> to 18 episodes, and his exit will be related to the conclusion of the Gig Harbor storyline. There has been no official statement about Eads&#8217; departure, but sources told <I>TV Guide<\/i> it was an amicable decision.<\/p>\n<p>\n<b>Paul Guilfoyle<\/b> (Jim Brass) was the most recent original cast member to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/content\/2014\/05\/guilfoyle-says-thank-you-to-the-fans\/\">leave the show<\/a>, exiting after the season 14 finale. Last season, Eads <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/content\/2013\/08\/eads-will-definitely-return-to-csi\/\">missed several episodes<\/a> due to a behind-the-scenes disagreement.
