\nCSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/i> offered the season 15 premiere at 10:00pm ET\/PT. “The CSI Effect” was watched by<\/a> 9.66 million viewers, although the episode was delayed in some areas due to football coverage, and the final ratings are subject to change. These numbers put the premiere down from the season 14 finale, and mark the lowest viewers since April 9. The Saints\/Cowboys game on NBC averaged<\/a> 18.14 million viewers in the 10:00pm hour, winning the timeslot, with CSI<\/i> and Revenge<\/i> (5.26 million) coming second and third. In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, CSI<\/i> earned a new series low 1.4 rating\/4 share, which tied with Revenge<\/i> for second place in the 10:00pm hour.
