\nWith their contracts due to expire, Michael Weatherly<\/b> (Tony DiNozzo), Sean Murray<\/b> (Timothy McGee), Pauley Perrette<\/b> (Abby Sciuto), David McCallum<\/b> (Dr Donald “Ducky” Mallard) and Rocky Carroll<\/b> (Leon Vance) all re-signed<\/a> to remain on NCIS<\/i> for seasons 12-13. Mark Harmon<\/b> (Leroy Jethro Gibbs), Brian Dietzen<\/b> (Jimmy Palmer) and Emily Wickersham<\/b> (Ellie Bishop) are on different contract cycles.<\/p>\n

\nHere’s an interview with Harmon from Zap2It<\/a>, in which he talks about the season eleven finale. The tribute to the late Ralph Waite<\/b> (Jackson Gibbs) includes “some flashbacks, but we tried not to do too much in the way of fabrication. The news was certainly shocking, but it remains in all of our lives that some day, we’re going to have to handle it. This is in tribute to Ralph and the time he spent with us, because he made every effort to make it real.”<\/p>\n
