The way we approached it was, how do we bring someone new into the fold? What could she bring to the group and to the party? Bishop is a NSA analyst, and she\u2019s a thinker. She looks at the world in a very global way; she looks  at everything, life, in a global way. That\u2019s a big part of the way that our group is evolving. Our agents are evolving \u2014 they\u2019re looking at terrorism in a different way, they\u2019re having to approach crimes in a different way and I think that having that view of the world is something that our people don\u2019t necessarily have much experience in. So I think she\u2019ll provide something different. I think she\u2019ll emotionally provide something different. Emily Wickersham is a terrific actress. I\u2019ve now spent a bunch of time with her; I\u2019m really excited about what she\u2019s going to bring to this and how she\u2019s going to bring the character to life. Fortunately, when Emily Wickersham&#8217;s NSA Analyst Ellie Bishop finally does report for duty, she will make a strong first impression during the NCIS team&#8217;s hunt for terrorist Benham Parsa. &#8220;He is a new face that we haven&#8217;t seen before and has a new approach to things,&#8221; executive producer Gary Glasberg says of the season-long villain. &#8220;Bishop will actually have a strong view and position on [Parsa].
