Executive Producer Don McGill<\/b> offers some details about tonight’s CSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/i> premiere, “The Devil and DB Russell”. (Spoilers after the jump!)<\/p>\n
\nAs season 13 came to a close, “Skin in the Game”<\/a> ended with Morgan Brody (Elisabeth Harnois<\/b>) and Ellie Brass (Teal Redmann<\/b>) in danger after they were kidnapped by a serial killer. The premiere picks up as the team searches for them before they become the killer’s latest victims. “It becomes a story of two fathers and two daughters \u2014 Brass [Paul Guilfoyle<\/b>] and his daughter, who is in jeopardy, and Ecklie [Marc Vann<\/b>] and his daughter, who is in jeopardy,” McGill told XFinity TV<\/a>. “The whole team has to pull together. It’s some pretty explosive stuff.”<\/p>\n \nAs CSI Files previously reported<\/a>, someone will die in the premiere. Like last season’s premiere, “Karma to Burn”<\/a>, the search for Morgan and Ellie proves that the families of the CSI’s aren’t safe from danger. “One of the great themes of CSI<\/i>, especially from the beginning, is that the workplace is family,” McGill said. “The CSIs really are a family, especially since Ted Danson<\/b> (DB Russell) joined the cast. He brought this whole stable, family man vibe to the team.
