CSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/i> will explore the fallout of the tragedy that befalls them in the season 14 premiere. (Spoilers after the jump!)<\/p>\n
\nWhen CSI’<\/i>s thirteenth season came to an end, Morgan Brody (Elisabeth Harnois<\/b>) and Ellie Brass (Teal Redmann<\/b>) were both in the clutches of a killer whose murders were inspired by Dante’s Inferno<\/i>. As CSI Files previously reported<\/a>, season 14 opens at a funeral. There is a closed casket, and fans will be left wondering who is inside. “In the very first frame of the premiere, we will see a casket and our CSI family gathered at a memorial service, in mourning,” Executive Producer Don McGill<\/b> told TV Line<\/a>. The episode will then flash back three days, to pick up where “Skin in the Game”<\/a> left off.<\/p>\n \nThe identity of the victim is still a mystery, but McGill confirmed that someone close to the CSI<\/i> family will die in “The Devil and DB Russell”. “People will be surprised who it is,” he revealed. “And there will ramifications as the season progresses.” CSI’<\/i>s premiere will air Wednesday, September 25 at 10:00pm ET\/PT.<\/p>\n \nIn more upbeat news, it was previously reported<\/a> that CSI’<\/i>s leading man Ted Danson<\/b> (DB Russell) would reunite with fellow Cheers<\/i> star John Ratzenberger<\/b> during season 14.
