\nCSI Files previously posted a sneak peek<\/a> at the teaser for episode 14.01, “The Devil and DB Russell”, which indicates that there will be a funeral in the September 25 premiere. “A person close to the CSI family will die,” Executive Producer Don McGill<\/b> told TV Guide<\/a>. A look at the teaser shows that some characters are not in the first scene, including Morgan Brody (Elisabeth Harnois<\/b>) and Jim Brass (Paul Guilfoyle<\/b>), whose daughter Ellie (Teal Redmann<\/b>) was missing at the end of the finale along with Morgan.
