When Elisabeth Harnois<\/b> (Morgan Brody) joined the cast of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/i>, she was worried about fitting in with an established group. “That was my biggest fear, that I was joining a group of people who had been together for 12 years at that point,” the actress told the Daily Record<\/i>. Fortunately, the rest of the CSI<\/i> cast welcomed Harnois with open arms. She added, “I took a big exhale after realising I was working with peers who were supportive, not competitive.”<\/p>\n
\nCSI<\/i> is heading into its fourteenth season this fall, and Harnois attributes the show’s continued success to its “perfect formula” for self-contained episodes. “There are so many stars that have to align to make a show a success,” she said, “but I do believe that because we’ve had a formula where science was a character as much as everyone else was, there was always going to be a new story to tell. There is always going to be a new murder, a new discovery in science and the way we solve crime.”
