\nCSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/i> returns on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET\/PT with “Dead Air”<\/a>:<\/p>\n The CSIs investigate the demise of a prominent news anchor during a live broadcast.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n \n“Dead Air” marks the directorial debut of Producer Phil Conserva<\/b>. Co-Executive Producer Joe Pokaski<\/b> has written four previous episodes of CSI<\/i>, including “Wild Flowers”<\/a> from earlier this season.<\/p>\n \nThe following guest stars will appear in the episode:<\/p>\n \nOn Friday, CSI: New York<\/i> investigates a murder tied to a mysterious location in “Nine Thirteen”<\/a> at 9:00pm ET\/PT:<\/p>\n The CSIs investigate when a masked man is found at the bottom of a notorious skyscraper known for its history of mysterious deaths. Meanwhile, on her day off, Jo runs into a stranger with a surprising link to her past.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n \nExecutive Producer Pam Veasey<\/b> is credited as director and writer for “Nine Thirteen”, which marks her first time helming the series. She penned the teleplay based on a story she co-wrote with David Fallon<\/b>. Veasey has written 38 previous episodes, most recently “Unspoken”<\/a> from earlier this season. \nAlex Carter is reprising his established recurring role as Detective Vartann. Daniel Roebuck was in season six’s “Rashomama”<\/a>, and he also appeared in the CSI: Miami<\/i> episode “Getting Axed”<\/a> during the show’s eighth season. Spencer Grammer previously guest-starred on CSI: New York<\/i> (“Flash Pop”<\/a>). Danielle Bisutti was in three episodes of Miami’<\/i>s tenth and final season, most recently the penultimate episode, “Law & Disorder”<\/a>. Tom Choi guest-starred in “No Man’s Land”<\/a> during Miami’<\/i>s fifth season. The other actors are new to the franchise.<\/p>\n\n
\nNatalie Martinez is back as Jamie Lovato. Johann Urb guest-starred in the Miami<\/i> episode “Stalkerazzi”<\/a> during the show’s second season. Laura Vandervoort appeared in “Big Shots”<\/a> during the seventh season of CSI<\/i>, and Robert Baker was in season four’s “Fur and Loathing”<\/a>. The other actors are new to the franchise.<\/p>\n
