The history of Sara&#8217;s family has been mentioned in episodes such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/episodes\/csi\/season3\/one_hit_wonder.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;One Hit Wonder&#8221;<\/a> from Season Three and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/episodes\/csi\/season5\/no_humans_involved.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;No Humans Involved&#8221;<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/episodes\/csi\/season5\/nesting_dolls.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Nesting Dolls&#8221;<\/a> in Season Five. In the brief moments of history given on the Sidle matriarch viewers have learned that Laura killed her husband, and was committed to a psychiatric facility forcing Sara to be placed into foster care.\u00a0So who will portray Mama Sidle?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/kay-lenz-2003.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-40526\" title=\"kay-lenz-2003\" src=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/kay-lenz-2003-218x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"218\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Actress\u00a0<strong>Kay Lenz<\/strong> has scored the pivotal role, sources confirm to me exclusively. Lenz, a Daytime Emmy winner, will first appear in the February 20 episode. Described as\u00a0the victim of a very hard life, Laura Sidle has been transported from a care home to the hospital due to alcohol poisoning. Confused, but apologetic, she has no idea that she is a pawn in the machinations of a nefarious plot to sabotage Sara. But she is delighted to see her daughter, so maybe all is good between the two of them now? Probably not.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to\u00a0<em>The Tick<\/em> Lenz has appeared in, but not limited to,\u00a0<em>Magnum, P.I., Gunsmoke<\/em>,\u00a0<em>ER<\/em>,\u00a0<em>House<\/em> and\u00a0<em>Southland<\/em>.
