Spoilers after the jump.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_38489\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-38489\" style=\"width: 280px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/pic01.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-38489\" title=\"pic01\" src=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/pic01-280x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"280\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-38489\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Josh Randall<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Randall will first appear in this season&#8217;s tenth installment, &#8220;Risky Business Class,&#8221; tentatively scheduled to be the last episode to air in 2012. In the episode&#8211;which kicks off an arc for the actor&#8211;he&#8217;ll play NTSB investigator Doug, a guy&#8217;s guy who is good at his job. He shares a history with Sara Sidle (<strong>Jorja Fox<\/strong>), which resurfaces when he&#8217;s in town to head up a plane crash\u00a0investigation. \u00a0A former colleague of Sara&#8217;s from\u00a0San Francisco, Doug finds himself still attracted to the now married CSI, but that doesn&#8217;t stop him from wanting to take a friendly trip down memory lane.\u00a0<strong>Elizabeth Devine<\/strong> wrote the episode, which is now in its second day of filming under the direction of\u00a0<strong>Frank Waldeck<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As CSI Files <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/content\/2012\/10\/interview-joe-pokaski-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">previously reported<\/a>,\u00a0<em>CSI<\/em> will explore the struggles in the long-distance marriage between Sara and Gil Grissom (<strong>William Petersen<\/strong>) as the show continues its thirteenth season. Whether this visit from Sara&#8217;s past has any impact on GSR remains unclear.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, Randall has kept busy this year with appearances on\u00a0<em>Grimm<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Criminal Minds<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Law &amp; Order: SVU<\/em> and\u00a0<em>Franklin &amp; Bash<\/em>.
