Egilsson will step behind the camera for this season&#8217;s fifth episode, titled &#8220;Once Bitten.&#8221; As CSI Files <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/content\/2012\/08\/gonzalo-menendez-to-visit-csi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">previously reported<\/a>, <em>Miami<\/em>\u00a0alum <strong>Gonzalo Mendendez<\/strong>\u00a0will guest star in the upcoming installment as a corrupt lawyer. The former DP left <em>Miami<\/em>\u00a0in 2008 and went on to direct shows such as <em>Nikita<\/em>, <em>The Secret Circle<\/em>\u00a0and <em>Alcatraz<\/em>.
