In recognition of his work to support the men and women of the United States military, Gary Sinise<\/b> (CSI: New York’<\/i>s Mac Taylor) was named an honorary chief petty officer during a ceremony on Friday, August 24. The event took place at the United States Navy Memorial and Naval Heritage Center in Washington, DC. Fleet Master Chief(AW\/NAC) Michael D Stevens<\/b> presented Sinise with his chief’s cover on behalf of Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy(MCPON)(SS\/SW) Rick D West<\/b>.<\/p>\n
