Murciano first appeared back in Season Ten&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/episodes\/csi\/season10\/coup_de_grace.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Coup de Grace&#8221;<\/a> as Detective Carlos Moreno. After last season&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/episodes\/csi\/season11\/crime_after_crime.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Crime After Crime,&#8221;<\/a> when Detective Sam Vega (<strong>Geoffrey Rivas<\/strong>) met his demise, Moreno was brought back into the <em>CSI<\/em>\u00a0universe with a juicy reveal: a family relation to the dirty cop. He appeared in two episodes last season (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/episodes\/csi\/season12\/altered_stakes.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Altered Stakes&#8221;<\/a> &amp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/episodes\/csi\/season12\/homecoming.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Homecoming&#8221;<\/a>), and was last seen with <strong>Elisabeth Shue<\/strong>&#8216;s Julie Finlay&#8211;possibly with a hidden agenda. Look for him in the Season Thirteen premiere &#8220;Karma to Burn&#8221; and Episode Three, &#8220;Wild Flowers.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Also, fans clamoring to see the return of Detective Lou Vartann (<strong>Alex Carter<\/strong>) will have to be a bit patient.
