Get the scoop after the jump!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Arye Gross, who has been appearing on ABC&#8217;s <em>Castle<\/em>\u00a0as medical examiner\u00a0Sidney Perlmutter, will appear in this season&#8217;s second episode titled &#8220;Code Blue Plate Special.&#8221; Gross&#8217; character is involved in a case taking place at Frank&#8217;s Diner, an establishment featured in numerous episodes of the series, including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/episodes\/csi\/season6\/rashomama.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Rashomama&#8221;<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/episodes\/csi\/season7\/law_of_gravity.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Law of Gravity.&#8221;<\/a> Eight people are killed during a horrific massacre and the CSI team must find the perpetrator. In-house director <strong>Louis Milito<\/strong>\u00a0is directing the episode from a script by <strong>Andrew Dettmann<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t the first time Gross has appeared on <em>CSI<\/em>; he guest-starred in Season Four&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/episodes\/csi\/season4\/feeling_the_heat.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Feeling the Heat&#8221;<\/a> as a father whose baby was found dead in a car. He also appeared on <em>CSI: NY<\/em>\u00a0in the episode <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/episodes\/newyork\/season4\/admissions.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Admissions.&#8221;<\/a> &#8220;Code Blue Plate Special&#8221; is scheduled to air October 3.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Castle\u00a0alum Arye Gross\u00a0will make an appearance on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
