The premiere of CSI: New York’<\/i>s ninth season will find the team consulting with a criminal to solve a hero’s murder. (Spoilers after the jump!)<\/p>\n
\nAs CSI Files previously reported<\/a>, the New York<\/i> season opener will feature Rob Morrow<\/b> (Numb3rs<\/i>) in the first of two appearances as a convicted arsonist who has been released from prison. Someone starts setting fires around the city, and according to TV Guide<\/a>, things get even more serious when a captain from the New York City Fire Department is killed in a blaze. Desperate to catch the person responsible, Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise<\/b>) teams up with Morrow’s character to solve the case.
