{"id":26077,"date":"2012-07-06T21:30:11","date_gmt":"2012-07-07T04:30:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/content\/?p=26077"},"modified":"2012-07-06T21:30:11","modified_gmt":"2012-07-07T04:30:11","slug":"danson-wont-watch-himself-on-csi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/content\/2012\/07\/danson-wont-watch-himself-on-csi\/","title":{"rendered":"Danson Won&#8217;t Watch Himself On &#8216;CSI&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Ted Danson<\/b> joined the cast of <I>CSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/I> at the start of the crime drama&#8217;s twelfth season, and his character DB Russell is still evolving. &#8220;It&#8217;s always funny to talk about a TV series because it&#8217;s like a mosaic; you don&#8217;t have a beginning, middle and an end like film scripts or plays,&#8221; the actor told the <i>Coventry Telegraph<\/i>. So far, viewers have learned that DB is a &#8220;family man&#8221; who can balance his work life and home life, and his job is to &#8220;manage and mentor&#8221; the rest of the talented CSI team.<\/p>\n<p>\nDanson plans to remain on <I>CSI<\/i> for a while, but he doesn&#8217;t watch the series. &#8220;There&#8217;s about a seven-year lag time before I can watch something I&#8217;m in,&#8221; he revealed. &#8220;I love actually working. I don&#8217;t judge myself; I have a ball, I think I&#8217;m [<b>Laurence<\/b>] <b>Olivier<\/b>, and then I watch it and I&#8217;m so destructively judgemental.
