The network had to choose between <I>Miami<\/i> and fellow spinoff <I>CSI: New York<\/i>, and Tassler said budgets and ratings were not the deciding factor. &#8220;They were very close, looking at them forensically, they were very close,&#8221; she <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.zap2it.com\/frominsidethebox\/2012\/05\/why-was-csi-miami-canceled-over-csi-ny-cbs-nina-tassler-discusses-tough-choice.html\">revealed<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;It was a very tough choice,&#8221; Tassler said.
