The season finale of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/i> will air this Wednesday at 10:00pm ET\/PT. “Homecoming”<\/a> will introduce DB Russell’s (Ted Danson<\/b>) wife, and viewers will learn the truth about his past with Julie “Finn” Finlay (Elisabeth Shue<\/b>). (Spoilers after the jump!)<\/p>\n

\nAs CSI Files previously reported<\/a>, DB’s wife Barbara will be played by Peri Gilpin<\/b>. “The other characters hold us out as a little bizarre,” Danson told TV Guide<\/i>. He also explained that the laid-back boss will show a new side of himself when his family is in danger. “Mr Granola suddenly has to face the violence within,” the actor said. “I can’t tell you how satisfying it was to have DB blow of a little steam.”<\/p>\n

\nCSI<\/i> has teased the mystery of DB’s past with Finn since she was introduced in “Seeing Red”<\/a>. This week, “Homecoming” will provide some answers for the fans. When the truth surfaces, Danson revealed, “it ends up putting everybody in jeopardy. It’s one big ugly mess by the end.”
