\nCSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/i> revs it up with “Dune and Gloom”<\/a> on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET\/PT:<\/p>\n When a bomb kills an off-road race truck driver mid-race, the CSI team is called on the scene to investigate why.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n \nDirector Jeffrey Hunt<\/b> has fifteen previous credits for CSI<\/i>, most recently “CSI Unplugged”<\/a> from earlier this season. Executive Story Editor Tom Mularz<\/b> penned the episode, which marks his tenth credit for the series. His previous episodes include “Seeing Red”<\/a> from earlier this year.<\/p>\n \nThe following guest stars will appear in the episode:<\/p>\n \nOn Friday, CSI: New York<\/i> will air “Unwrapped”<\/a> at 9:00pm ET\/PT, and the team investigates the death of a local hero:<\/p>\n The CSIs are called to a Brooklyn housing project to investigate the murder of a successful businessman who still felt the pull of his old neighborhood.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n \nDirector Deran Serafian<\/b> has four previous credits from CSI: NY’<\/i>s first season, most recently “Hush”<\/a>. “Unwrapped” was co-written by Supervising Producer John Dove<\/b> and Co-Executive Producer Christopher Silber<\/b>. Dove wrote 16 previous episodes, including this season’s “Crossroads”<\/a>. \nMarc Vann, Alex Carter and Jon Wellner are reprising established recurring roles. Jon Collin Barclay appeared in the CSI: New York<\/i> episode “Redemptio”<\/a> during the show’s sixth season. The other actors are new to the franchise.<\/p>\n\n
\nMegan Dodds is back as Christine Whitney, who was last seen in the previous episode, “Sl\u00e1inte”<\/a>. Sherri Saum guest-starred in the CSI: Miami<\/i> episode “Point of Impact”<\/a> during the show’s eighth season, and Charles Malik Whitfield was in season six’s “Stand Your Ground”<\/a>. Mo McRae appeared in the CSI<\/i> episode “No Humans Involved”<\/a> during season five.<\/p>\n
