\nCSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/i> re-opens an old case in “Altered Stakes”<\/a> on Wednesday at 10:00pm ET\/PT:<\/p>\n When Stokes learns that a man he helped put in prison is going to have his conviction overturned, the CSI team needs to prove the killer is guilty again or he will be released.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n \nThis is the first time David Semel<\/b> has directed an episode of CSI<\/i>. Consulting Producer Elizabeth Devine<\/b> wrote the teleplay for “Altered Stakes”, based on a story by writing duo and Co-Executive Producers Melissa R Byer<\/b> and Treena Hancock<\/b>. Devine has written 12 previous episodes of the hit crime drama, most recently “Genetic Disorder”<\/a> earlier this season. Byer and Hancock have five writing credits for the series, including “Stealing Home”<\/a>.<\/p>\n \nThe following guest stars will appear in the episode:<\/p>\n \nCSI: New York<\/i> will not air on Friday. Larry Poindexter previously guest-starred as DA Claude Melvoy in last season’s “Targets of Obsession”<\/a>. Susan May Pratt played a different character in “Eleven Angry Jurors”<\/a> during season four. Myk Watford guest-starred in the CSI: Miami<\/i> episode “Rush”<\/a> during the show’s fifth season.<\/p>\n
