The series pulled in 10.70 million viewers, which is the highest number for the season so far. This put <I>New York<\/i> ahead of the second hour of <I>Extreme Makeover: Home Edition<\/i> (6.05 million), the first hour of <i>Dateline<\/i> (4.15 million), <i>Supernatural<\/i> (1.82 million) and a repeat of <I>Fringe<\/i> (1.73 million).
