According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.deadline.com\/2011\/09\/tnt-picks-up-carol-mendelsohns-drama-scent-of-the-missing-to-pilot\/\">Deadline<\/a>, TNT has given a pilot order for the series. <i>CSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/i> Executive Producer <b>Carol Mendelsohn<\/b> is an executive producer on the project, and she co-wrote the script with <i>CSI<\/i> writers\/co-executive producers <b>Melissa Byer<\/b> and <b>Treena Hancock<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>\nMendelsohn is also executive producing two projects in development for CBS. <i>Two Badges<\/i> is a procedural based on <b>Mona Ruiz&#8217;<\/b>s memoir about a former gang member who becomes a detective. The female-centered script was written by <b>Ted Humphrey<\/b>. The other project is untitled, and it was written by <b>David Hubbard<\/b>. The drama centers around a detective who has lost three partners in the line of duty.
