Carlos Bernard<\/b> (24<\/i>) has been cast as a season-long nemesis for CSI: Miami’<\/i>s leading man Horatio Caine (David Caruso<\/b>). Spoilers after the jump!<\/p>\n
\nAs CSI Files previously reported<\/a>, the Miami<\/i> CSIs will find themselves on the hunt for a serial killer whose father helps him avoid being captured. According to TV Guide<\/a>, Bernard will play the wealthy, connected father in question. “We’re going to slowly position Horatio in opposition to a very subtle, but powerful, political patriarch,” co-executive producer Barry O’Brien<\/b> explained. “He’s kind of a Donald Trump<\/b> meets the Kennedy family. …There will be a very high-octane relationship between the two.
