Miller and La Rue are hoping to raise money and awareness for guide dog organizations, but that&#8217;s not all.<\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;We want people to realize that this is more than just a fundraiser for a good cause,&#8221; Miller <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ohmidog.com\/2011\/08\/12\/csi-miami-stars-raise-money-for-guide-dogs\/\">said<\/a>. &#8220;This is really about empowering the visually impaired with the life-changing gift of a guide dog.&#8221; La Rue added, &#8220;Every seven minutes someone in America becomes blind or visually impaired.
