The season eight premiere of CSI: New York<\/i> will honor the tenth anniversary of September 11th in a way that is very personal for leading man Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise<\/b>). (Spoilers after the jump!)<\/p>\n
\nAs New York<\/i> viewers learned during the pilot episode, “Blink”<\/a>, Mac’s wife Claire died in the World Trade Center on 9\/11. It has been ten years since the tragedy, and the crime drama will give Mac some emotional material during the season premiere. According to TV Line<\/a> and TV Guide<\/a>, Claire will be featured in flashbacks that offer a glimpse of the hours leading up to the attack.
