However, he doesn&#8217;t know the exact details surrounding her return or how long she&#8217;ll appear. &#8220;I think that&#8217;s still up in the air to some degree,&#8221; the writer explained. He added, &#8220;[W]e obviously want to try to keep it open so she can return in the future, and we really don&#8217;t want her to leave at all.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\nThe writers are planning for <b>Laurence Fishburne<\/b> (Dr Ray Langston) to be back next season, but that may depend on circumstances beyond their control. &#8220;I certainly hope he is coming back,&#8221; Barbour said. &#8220;We don&#8217;t know. In reality, the actors have contracts that are being renegotiated.
