\nCSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/i> starts out the week on Thursday at 9:00pm ET\/PT with “Hitting for the Cycle”<\/a>, and the team is on the lookout for an interesting set of victims:<\/p>\n A string of deaths, including a gamer found dead on his couch and a newly divorced man at the bottom of a pool, instigate a bet among the CSIs as to whether they’ve ‘hit for the cycle’—a homicide, a suicide, an accidental and a natural death all in one night.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n \nAlec Smight<\/b> has directed 19 episodes of CSI<\/i>, most recently “Targets of Obsession”<\/a> earlier this year. Daniel Steck<\/b> and Richard Catalani<\/b> co-wrote this episode. Steck has two story credits for the series, including season ten’s “Sin City Blue”<\/a>. Catalani previously penned 21 CSI<\/i> episodes, most recently “The List”<\/a>.<\/p>\n \nThe following guest stars will appear in the episode:<\/p>\n \nOn Friday, CSI: New York<\/i> hits close to home for one team member in “Identity Crisis”<\/a> at 9:00pm ET\/PT:<\/p>\n Jo balances personal and professional challenges when her adopted daughter, Ellie, is the key witness in a murder investigation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n \nSecond unit director Mike Vejar, Jr<\/b> is helming his first episode this week. “Identity Crisis” was written by executive producer Pam Veasey<\/b>, who has 33 previous credits for the series. Her most recent episode was this season’s “To What End?”<\/a><\/p>\n \nThe episode will feature the following guest stars:<\/p>\n \nCSI: Miami<\/i> will not air on Sunday. \nJon Wellner is reprising his established recurring role in the lab. Sal Landi previously appeared in season three’s “High and Low”<\/a>. Victor Browne was in the CSI: New York<\/i> episode “Blood, Sweat and Tears”<\/a> during the show’s first season, and Kaitlin Doubleday guest starred in “Tunnel Vision”<\/a> during the sixth season of CSI: Miami<\/i>. The other actors are new to the franchise.<\/p>\n\n
\nDavid James Elliott is back as Jo’s ex-husband Russ Josephson, who was introduced in “To What End?” Sydney Park played Ellie Danville in “Do Not Pass Go”<\/a>. Laurie Fortier has appeared on Miami<\/i> (“One Night Stand”<\/a>) and in three episodes of CSI<\/i> (most recently “Sqweegel”<\/a>).<\/p>\n
