George Eads<\/b> (Nick Stokes) remains passionate about CSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/i> after eleven seasons on the air, and he plans to ride the wave until the very end.<\/p>\n
\nEads said it’s a “privilege” to be a working actor in Hollywood, and he’s proud to be on CSI<\/i>. “I have a burning passion for this show that will never be extinguished,” the actor told Bleeding Cool<\/i>. “It’s like my eleven-year old kid.” In order to keep things fresh, Eads added, “You have to take good care of yourself away from camera. Good sleep is essential. And in the end, they just hired the right person for the job. I love it!”<\/p>\n
\nThe actor feels like he has “complete ownership” of his character. “This has always been a collaborative experience,” Eads explained. “Billy Petersen<\/b> (Gil Grissom) was the catalyst for that. With his theatre background, he treated everyone as a teammate. There was no hierarchy. We got lucky that our lead\/producer wasn’t a self-absorbed jerk. He set the family tone early. We work together as a team from the assistant directors to craft service. I really believe that transcends on camera.”<\/p>\n
\nEads has been with CSI<\/i> since the show began more than a decade ago, and he has no intention of leaving. “I’ll sail this boat to the sandbar and jump out with a knife in my teeth!” he said. “I’ve seen it this far. I’ll see it to the end. I really hope that when that day comes we go out in a blaze of glory. I’d love to get some crazy cool guest stars. Can you imagine someone like Christopher Walken<\/b> coming to the show? I can! Until then, I’ll just keep enjoying it while it lasts.”
