The past few years have been a time of transition for CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’<\/i>s leading lady Marg Helgenberger<\/b> (Catherine Willows). Two years ago, the actress experienced a period of personal upheaval: she turned 50, her son Hugh<\/b> went to college, and she divorced her husband of nearly 20 years, Alan Rosenberg<\/b>. During that time, CSI<\/i> was a “real stabilizing force” for Helgenberger. These days, the actress is in a good place thanks to family, friends and her new boyfriend Alan Finkelstein<\/b>.<\/p>\n
\nWith her personal life on an upswing, Helgenberger has contemplated<\/a> leaving CSI<\/i> after season eleven ends. “It will be one of the sadder days in my life when I leave,” Helgenberger told People<\/i> magazine.
