CSI: New York<\/i> introduced David James Elliott<\/b> as Russ Josephson, the ex-husband of newcomer Jo Danville (Sela Ward<\/b>), in “To What End?”<\/a> earlier this season—but is there a love triangle in the cards? (Embedded video after the jump!)<\/p>\n

\nJo wasn’t thrilled to see her ex-husband in the New York Crime Lab, but Russ has lingering feelings for her. “I guess I’m the enemy on a level to Sela because I’m the dreaded ex-husband,” Elliott told ET Canada<\/i>. However, it’s possible that Jo still has feelings for her ex. Elliott added, “[M]aybe not so dreaded, who knows.”<\/p>\n

\nNew York<\/i> has planted the seeds for a love triangle between Russ, Jo and leading man Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise<\/b>), but time will tell if anything develops between the characters. For now, fans can expect a bit of tension when Elliott returns to the series later this season. “It’s fun, and you get to see a little bit of that territorial piece of Mac come out,” Ward revealed. “You have two peacocks that feel they have a little bit of ownership in very different ways.”<\/p>\n

\nSinise isn’t sure he wants to be involved in any sort of love triangle. “I don’t want to get in the middle of that,” the actor said with a laugh. “[I’m] strictly business, all business.”<\/p>\n
