The series pulled in 9.66 million viewers, which marks the highest numbers so far in 2011. This put <i>New York<\/i> ahead of the first hour of <i>Dateline<\/i> (5.66 million), the first hour of <I>20\/20<\/i> (5.26 million), <i>Fringe<\/i> (3.71 million) and <i>Supernatural<\/i> (1.96 million). In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, <i>CSI: NY<\/i> earned a 1.5 rating\/5 share. In contrast to the overall viewers this week, this score marks a series low for the crime drama.
