It was the &#8220;perfect story&#8221; to feature Grissom, executive producer <b>Carol Mendelsohn<\/b> told <i>TV Guide<\/i>, and Petersen&#8217;s onscreen wife <b>Jorja Fox<\/b> (Sara Sidle) convinced him to come back and film a scene.
