\nScience is the “foundation” of all three CSI<\/i> series, Sinise told Universal Channel UK. “Forensic science is going to solve the crime,” he said. “And now it’s like what’s the story? Who are the characters? And the audience has gotten very used to our team working together.”<\/p>\n
\nThe cast of New York<\/i> has been working hard to finish season seven. “This season we’re trying to get done a month early,” Sinise explained. Several times so far this season, the cast has split up to film two episodes at one time. Two different crews work simultaneously, and the actors might work on one episode in the morning before switching to work on the other episode later in the day. Filming several episodes at one time causes things to blend together. Sinise admitted, “You lose sight a little bit.”
