In its temporary 8:00pm ET\/PT timeslot, the series pulled in 11.49 million viewers in the first half hour, rising to 12.31 million in the second half&#8212;giving the show an overall viewership for the night of 11.90 million. This was enough to put it ahead of the average 11.30 million viewers earned by Fox for <i>The Simpsons<\/i> (12.65 million) and the series premiere of <i>Bob&#8217;s Burgers<\/i> (9.41 million). In third place for the hour was <I>Extreme Makeover: Home Edition<\/i>, which pulled in 9.12 million viewers, followed by <i>Dateline<\/i> with 7.25 million.
