Fans can expect some great character moments in the second half of CSI: New York’<\/i>s seventh season. (Minor spoilers after the jump!)<\/p>\n
\nCSI Files previously reported<\/a> that Danny (Carmine Giovinazzo<\/b>) and Lindsay Messer (Anna Belknap<\/b>) will work together to find clues in a New York landmark during an upcoming episode. That’s not the only personal moment in store for the CSI: NY<\/i> characters. “Lindsay is personally involved in an upcoming episode with a person from her past that she unwittingly disappointed,” producers told E! Online.<\/p>\n \n“Lindsay, Danny, and Lucy continue to be a happy and healthy family and there are no plans to have anything threaten that,” the producers added. However, happiness at home doesn’t automatically transfer to the job. As CSI partners, the producers explained, “there are always potential dangers.”<\/p>\n \nIn other character news, New York<\/i> hopes to see the return of Don Flack’s (Eddie Cahill<\/b>) sister Sam (Kathleen Munroe<\/b>), who was last seen in season five’s “Dead Inside”<\/a>. “We love her,” the producers said, but they did not mention specific plans to bring the character back. They do plan to give more material to AJ Buckley’<\/b>s character, Adam Ross. “We love Adam and always look for ways to get him involved in every episode,” they said. “We got to focus on him this season in ‘Unfriendly Chat’<\/a> and if you liked that, you’ll be pleased with the part he plays going forward.”<\/p>\n \nCSI: NY<\/i> used to feature a lot of two-case episodes, but the show tends to focus on a single case these days. However, fans can see a hint of the old two-case formula in such episodes as “Scared Stiff”<\/a>. “You’ve already seen a little of that this season when a body found in Central Park branched into the murders of Roni Parker and Marcella Gomez,” the producers explained. “We’re always looking for ways to keep things surprising and unorthodox so we never rule anything out.
