{"id":12921,"date":"2010-12-20T23:52:17","date_gmt":"2010-12-21T07:52:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/content\/?p=12921"},"modified":"2010-12-20T23:52:17","modified_gmt":"2010-12-21T07:52:17","slug":"4-actors-from-the-csi-franchise-answer-fan-questions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.csifiles.com\/content\/2010\/12\/4-actors-from-the-csi-franchise-answer-fan-questions\/","title":{"rendered":"4 Actors From The &#8216;CSI&#8217; Franchise Answer Fan Questions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>CSI: Crime Scene Investigation&#8217;<\/i>s leading lady <b>Marg Helgenberger<\/b> (Catherine Willows), <b>Sela Ward<\/b> (Jo Danville) from <i>CSI: New York<\/i> and <i>CSI: Miami<\/i> actors <b>David Caruso<\/b> (Horatio Caine) and <b>Eva La Rue<\/b> (Natalia Boa Vista) answer questions posed by fans of the franchise.<\/p>\n<p>\n<!--more-->Helgenberger told AXN the toughest part about playing Catherine is &#8220;being a leader now that I&#8217;m the supervisor on the show and not being strident about it, just being somebody who&#8217;s going to be very inclusive.&#8221; She added, &#8220;Anybody can come into my office and air their grievances.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\nWhen asked how he developed the personality of <i>Miami&#8217;<\/i>s leading man Horatio Caine, Caruso described the character&#8217;s relationship with the people affected by tragedy. &#8220;Horatio has a very clear sensibility for the victims, and we deal with a lot of victims in the world of <I>CSI<\/i>, and he has a very special reverence for the people who have been affected by these terrible crimes,&#8221; Caruso explained. &#8220;He has a very specific tone to the way he approaches a setting and a situation and the people involved.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\nLa Rue&#8217;s most embarrassing moment on the set of <i>CSI: Miami<\/i> occurred on her second day. &#8220;Most of our set is glass,&#8221; she revealed. &#8220;It&#8217;s all paned glass windows, so that&#8217;s why you can see through one set into another.
