CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’<\/i>s leading lady Marg Helgenberger<\/b> (Catherine Willows), Sela Ward<\/b> (Jo Danville) from CSI: New York<\/i> and CSI: Miami<\/i> actors David Caruso<\/b> (Horatio Caine) and Eva La Rue<\/b> (Natalia Boa Vista) answer questions posed by fans of the franchise.<\/p>\n
\nHelgenberger told AXN the toughest part about playing Catherine is “being a leader now that I’m the supervisor on the show and not being strident about it, just being somebody who’s going to be very inclusive.” She added, “Anybody can come into my office and air their grievances.”<\/p>\n
\nWhen asked how he developed the personality of Miami’<\/i>s leading man Horatio Caine, Caruso described the character’s relationship with the people affected by tragedy. “Horatio has a very clear sensibility for the victims, and we deal with a lot of victims in the world of CSI<\/i>, and he has a very special reverence for the people who have been affected by these terrible crimes,” Caruso explained. “He has a very specific tone to the way he approaches a setting and a situation and the people involved.”<\/p>\n
\nLa Rue’s most embarrassing moment on the set of CSI: Miami<\/i> occurred on her second day. “Most of our set is glass,” she revealed. “It’s all paned glass windows, so that’s why you can see through one set into another. They’re highly-polished glass windows, and when I smashed into it face first in front of the entire cast and crew, I feel I didn’t fit in the way I wanted to that day.”<\/p>\n
\nCSI: New York’<\/I>s newest team member offered a hint about her love life during the show’s seventh season. “Well, they’ve brought back my ex-husband, [played by] David James Elliott<\/b>, for a quick little introduction for the audience, and there’s always this little underlying flirtation with Mac,” Ward explained. “I think the intention is ‘are they or aren’t they?’ Between the two, I think we have our hands full at the moment.”
