CSI: Miami<\/i> plans romance for Horatio Caine (David Caruso<\/b>), and Jo Danville (Sela Ward<\/b>) contemplates a reunion with her ex-husband. (Spoilers after the jump!)<\/p>\n
\nCSI: Miami<\/i> co-executive producer Barry O’Brien<\/b> says Horatio might get a love interest some time soon. “We’re definitely thinking that way,” O’Brien told TV Guide<\/i>. “Horatio has had impactful stories with female victims throughout the entire season. You’re seeing his sensitivity in that setting and the way he dedicates himself to a woman in jeopardy. I think the natural next step is to deepen his personal life as well. …That’s definitely a goal of ours.”<\/p>\n
\nOver on CSI: New York<\/i>, David James Elliott<\/b> will make his debut in January. As CSI Files previously reported<\/a>, Elliott will play Jo’s ex-husband, Russ Josephson. “There’s a little hint of him wanting [Jo] back,” executive producer Pam Veasey<\/b> said. “It’s a relationship of his pursuit, and she’s not completely resistant to it.” Veasey added that the introduction of Russ could make waves with fans who see sparks between Jo and Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise<\/b>). “I can’t wait for it to air because I want to know if the audience wants him to be around or go, ‘No!
