However, the actress admits that her departure is not set in stone. &#8220;You know what, anything&#8217;s possible,&#8221; Helgenberger told <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/News\/Scoop-CSI-Criminal-1024983.aspx\">TVGuide.com<\/a>. &#8220;But I wouldn&#8217;t consider a full season.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\nCatherine&#8217;s love life might play a role in her decision to stick around for season 12&#8212;or perhaps the writers are hoping that&#8217;s the case. &#8220;It&#8217;s funny, I&#8217;ve said I want a love interest on the show since Season 2, and my last season I finally get one. There&#8217;s something going on there,&#8221; she said, laughing. &#8220;They&#8217;ve given me some more interesting things to do this season, so we&#8217;ll see where they&#8217;re going to take the character in the next few months.
