\nAt the end of the second episode of Miami’<\/i>s eighth season, “Sudden Death”<\/a>, Calleigh and Eric shared a scene in the locker room. Calleigh told Eric they were “friends” and that she loved him “like family”—fans and the actors themselves were left wondering if this means the end of their romantic relationship. If things are over between the characters, Rodriguez is disappointed. “I don’t know if they’ve made a decision where they want to go with that yet,” the actor told Zap2It. “It’s going to be fun to explore. I thought it would have been fun to have little private moments in the CSI lab, whether it was sneaking a kiss or having an argument … Just going through the ups and downs. No one’s come out and said it’s not going to happen, but I guess that could be interpreted as a break-up scene.”<\/p>\n \n“I didn’t think that we broke up,” Procter explained. “I’ve been telling people that we didn’t. Because on that Sunday night, I was getting all these phone calls. They’re like, ‘Calleigh and Eric broke up?’ I’m like, ‘No, we didn’t.’ That scene … they made it look like we broke up.
