The episode pulled in 10.26 million viewers, which was a significant increase over last week and nearly even with the numbers pulled in by the first episode of the season. These ratings put <i>New York<\/i> ahead of the first hour of <I>Dateline<\/i> (4.10 million), an encore telecast of <I>Primetime: What Would You Do?<\/I> (4.04 million), <I>Supernatural<\/i> (2.48 million) and <i>The Good Guys<\/i> (2.33 million).<\/p>\n<p>\nIn the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, <i>New York<\/i> came out on top with a 1.9 rating\/6 share.
