Despite the decrease in ratings, <i>New York<\/i> beat the first half of a two-hour episode of <i>Dateline<\/i> (4.65 million), the first hour of <i>20\/20<\/i> (3.86 million), <i>Supernatural<\/i> (2.80 million) and <I>The Good Guys<\/i> (2.33 million). In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, <i>CSI: NY<\/i> pulled in a 1.7 rating\/6 share.
