With Adam Rodriguez<\/b> returning to CSI: Miami<\/i> full time in the fall, fans will have to wait and see how Eric Delko’s relationship with Calleigh Duquesne (Emily Procter<\/b>) develops during season nine. (Spoilers after the jump!)<\/p>\n
\nExecutive producer Marc Dube<\/b> told Entertainment Weekly<\/i> that Eric and Calleigh “will spend some time assessing their relationship.” He added, “It could go either way\u2026but Delko’s return is about getting back to being a CSI. He missed it.”<\/p>\n
\nBehind the scenes, things are developing naturally in the writers room. “You may see that relationship evolve in a way that surprises even us, the writers,” explained executive producer Barry O’Brien<\/b>. “We’re kind of letting it grow right now on its own.”
