A new video offers fans a glimpse of what’s in store for the season premieres of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/i> and CSI: New York<\/i>. (Spoilers after the jump!)<\/p>\n

\nAs CSI Files previously reported<\/a>, teen singing sensation Justin Bieber<\/b> will try his hand at dramatic acting in the season premiere of CSI<\/i>. “Justin popping up will bring in some new viewers—some viewers who probably haven’t even watched CSI<\/i> before,” Entertainment Weekly<\/i>‘s Tim Stack<\/b> told Entertainment Tonight<\/i>. “For his first acting gig, this is a serious show. We have only seen him as this bubble-gum pop singer. This is him trying to show that he is multi-dimensional.”<\/p>\n

\nMeanwhile, over on the Big Apple-based spinoff, Sela Ward<\/b> is joining<\/a> the CSI: NY<\/i> cast as Jo Danville, an experienced investigator who wastes no time getting into her new job. “I’m sort of thrown into the fire right away,” Ward revealed. “It is more complicated than I thought.” Costar Gary Sinise<\/b> (Mac Taylor) added, “We got very fortunate when Sela agreed to come in and do the job.”<\/p>\n

\nStack described Ward as “such a fan favorite.” He explained, “She has been on so many shows. Audiences respond to her. I think her and Gary is a great pairing. They are both such accomplished actors.”<\/p>\n
