CSI: Miami<\/i> writer Krystal Houghton<\/b> will be part of the Donate Life Film Festival in Beverly Hills, California on Saturday, June 12. The festival honors actors, producers and writers in Hollywood for positive portrayals of organ donation and transplantation. There are also instructional workshops, which can impact future donation storylines for film and television. Houghton will be participating in writers workshops along with ER<\/i> executive producer Dr Joe Sachs<\/b>. The workshops will feature police officers, coroners, transplant surgeons and more—in all, the festival invited ten leading physicians from around the country.<\/p>\n
