\nCSI Files previously reported<\/a> that Sinise would co-host the 21st annual National Memorial Day Concert with Joe Mantegna<\/b> (Criminal Minds<\/i>) live from the West Lawn of the US Capitol in Washington, DC on Sunday, May 30 from 8:00-9:30pm EST. “There’s usually about 200,000 people sitting on the lawn in front of the capital,” the actor told Fox News. “It’s a great way to take a minute out on Memorial Day to remember those who sacrifice for us. Memorial Day for many is just a BBQ or a ballgame, but it really is a significant holiday and it’s there for a reason. It’s my pleasure to take a moment out for those who do this for us.”<\/p>\n \n“I’m very very grateful that we have men and women willing to serve our country especially in such a dangerous and difficult time,” Sinise continued. “I know how hard they work and how difficult these deployments are on them and their families.
