‘Beyond Borders’ Kicks Off Season 1 Filming

CM: Beyond Borders cast
The new Criminal Minds spinoff, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, is not scheduled to debut until midseason. However, work is already underway on the show’s first season. The cast and crew started filming the premiere episode on Monday, July 27. Executive Producer Erica Messer wrote the premiere, titled “The Harmful One”, and Colin Bucksey is directing it.

They feature shots of leading man Gary Sinise (Jack Garrett), Daniel Henney (Matthew Simmons) and Tyler James Williams (Russ “Monty” Montgomery), who all appeared in the backdoor pilot, along with newcomers Alana De La Garza (Clara Seger) and Annie Funke (Mae Jarvis).
