CSI Files previously reported that the current ninth season of CSI: New York would contain 18 episodes. However, according to Matt Mitovich at TV Line, that number was never officially verified, and the finale that airs on February 22 will be the seventeenth episode of the season. Executive Producer Zachary Reiter confirmed the episode number on Twitter.
